Minimal Prose Haiku Challenge

Roll up, roll up, for the Minimal Prose Haiku Challenge!!

From the 1st of June I’m going to post a haiku every day – the twist is that the first line will be the first 5 syllables I think of in the morning.

The second like will be the first 7 syllables I think of at lunch.

The third will be the first 5 syllables I think of at the end of the day.

They are unlikely to be traditional haiku topics, but think it’s a great way to keep a haiku journal of creativity 🙂

I’d love for you all to join me in this challenge 🙂

If you’d like to take part simply write your haiku, and link back to this site. Every week I’ll pick my favourite haiku of the week!!

Please share, like, follow, and comment if anyone would like to take part.

It’s my first challenge I’ve posted, so no idea how it’ll turn out, but would love for a few participants to join in 🙂
