spiderweb flutters, from a rusted warning sign, still flies lay waiting
crystal clear water, a snowflake drifts and settles, blind fish goes hungry.
beware crows that fly, between signs that mark the way, their compass is wrong.
stillness as wheel turns, spinning in open air, bike lays abandoned.
black swan treads water, cold white eddies swirl and spin, greyness steals the sky
red kite prowling high, a cricket balls soaring arc, end extremely nigh
muddy waters lap, in the distance a freighter, a sail floats on by.
sine wave pumping black, ink stained heart on white paper, winter seeping bones
Under the hot glare, the grass begs a cloud to rain, spiky cactus smiles.
